Founded in September 2021, Scientific Research Center has been officially established as Shanghai University Geriatrics Research Center, containing two municipal key laboratories, namely Wenzhou Intelligent Medicine Key Laboratory of Neurodegenerative Diseases, and Wenzhou Obstetrics and Gynecology Center Laboratory. Also, it is equipped with a number of in-hospital laboratories, including Gastroenterology Laboratory, Pharmacy Laboratory, Vertigo Laboratory, etc.

Currently, our hospital has laid a solid scientific research foundation in irritable bowel syndromes, benign paroxysmal vertigos, liver tumors, cardiovascular diseases, and difficult gynecological and obstetrical diseases, etc., in which the scientific research project of the benign paroxysmal vertigo team has been effectively combined with artificial intelligence, perfectly embodying the integration of medicine and engineering.
