The hospital has tremendous strength in scientific research. In the past five years, it has undertaken more than 450 scientific research topics (including one general program of National Natural Science Foundation of China), 20 provincial and ministerial scientific research programs (including one program of Zhejiang Provincial Department of Science and Technology’s Leading Goose Program), 22 departmental programs, 6 major programs of Wenzhou, and more than 400 general basic public welfare programs (2018-2022). More than 1300 articles have been published, including 132 articles above the first level, 194 SCI journal articles (with the highest impact factor of 9.043). There are 73 invention patents, over 500 authorized utility model patents, 10 software copyrights, and 4 transformed research results.
