Established in 1992, Neurology Department is a member of China Stroke Center Alliance, China Parkinson Alliance, National Residency Standardized Training Base, National Drug Clinical Trial Base, and Key Discipline of Wenzhou City. The department operates 3 wards with 136 beds and more than 70 medical and nursing staff, including 6 chief physicians, 8 deputy chief physicians, 2 PhDs and 24 Master's degree holders.

The department has Stroke Center, Parkinson's Clinic, Vertigo Center, Sleep Disease Clinic, Dementia Clinic, Botulinum Toxin Clinic, which mainly treat all kinds of neurological disorders, muscular disorders, and psychosomatic disorders, etc., with a complete diagnosis and treatment process for difficult and critical illnesses. Meanwhile, the department has a neuroelectrophysiology room, which mainly carries out short-range video EEG, long-range video EEG, dynamic EEG, electromyography, brain evoked potentials and other projects. Wenzhou Neurology Annual Meeting, and Parkinson's disease and vertigo continuing education courses have been hosted by the department for many times, popularizing the technology throughout the city.
