Established in September 1913, Gynaecology Department of Wenzhou People's Hospital is a gynaecology center in Southern Zhejiang, a promotion base for maternal and child basic-level health appropriate technology in Wenzhou, a provincial and municipal key discipline, a national drug clinical trial base and a brand discipline in Wenzhou. The development scale and professional strength is in the first rank of the whole province. It is the leading enterprise in the field of research and teaching of maternal and child healthcare medicine in Wenzhou. At present, there are 4 wards with 146 beds and more than 120 medical technicians, including 7 chief gynecologists, 12 deputy chief gynecologists, 4 medical doctors and 67 medical masters.

We have developed sub-specialties such as general gynaecology, gynecological oncology, reproductive endocrinology, women's sexual health, pelvic floor disorders, and Chinese and Western integrative medicine, and have set up a special sub-specialty clinic to promote the standardized diagnosis, treatment, and long-term management of all types of gynecological disorders.
