Founded in 1986, Cardiology Department of Wenzhou People's Hospital is a key disciplinary department in Wenzhou, as well as one of the first batch of China Chest Pain Centers, Heart Failure Centers, Ventricular Fibrillation Centers, and Hypertension Adherence Centers in Wenzhou, and the only cardiovascular disease training demonstration center for Chinese basic-level physicians and a training base for cardiovascular disease care technology in Wenzhou.

Cardiovascular Department has 3 wards with 136 beds. Three cardiac intervention rooms are equipped with advanced equipment, including 2 IVUS instruments, 2 electrophysiological instruments, 2 IABP instruments, 1 FFR instrument and 1 OCT instrument. Cardiovascular Department of Wenzhou People's Hospital takes the lead in the technological level of diagnosis and treatment for common cardiovascular diseases and critical cardiovascular diseases in Wenzhou and even in Southern Zhejiang. Cardiology Department of our hospital has undertaken the national cardiovascular screening program for high-risk groups in Wenzhou, and has been awarded as a model unit and model individual for several consecutive years.
