On the morning of November 9, the medical and health investigation group of the Asian Games Organizing Committee (hereafter referred to as AGOC) came to the hospital to carry out investigation on the preparatory work of the designated medical security hospital for the Asian Games, and held a symposium on the preparatory work of medical security for Wenzhou Race Area of the Asian Games in our hospital.

Accompanied by Lv Jianhai, Deputy Director of Wenzhou Sports Bureau, Chen Jing, Director of Healthcare Department of Wenzhou Health Commission, Jiang Xiangao, Deputy Director of Wenzhou Public Hospital Management Center, Wu Linfeng, Director of Senior Citizens’ Health Department of Wenzhou Health Commission, and provincial and municipal hospitals and related units in Wenzhou, Jiang Huiquan (Vice Minister of Medical and Health Department of AGOC), Lv Wei (Grade II Investigator of Comprehensive Division of Medical and Health Department of AGOC), and other members paid an on-site visit to the hospital's medical security area of the Asian Games. President Yu Yingcong, Vice President Chen Jie, and Vice President Chen Xinguo made relevant introductions. As one of the designated medical security hospitals for Wenzhou Race Area of the Asian Games, our hospital has been fully affirmed by Vice Minister Jiang Huiquan, in the preparations and implementation of medical security work, having won high praise from him.

At the symposium, Director Chen Jing of Wenzhou Health Commission, and heads of relevant units of provincial and municipal departments introduced the work of the medical and health security preparations for the Asian Games, the existing difficulties and the future work plan.

Minister Jiang concluded that, in the context of the Asian Games postponement, it is necessary to continue implementing the provincial Party committee and provincial government's instructions of "working without breaks, maintaining consistent enthusiasm, keeping unchanged standards, realizing high organizational efficiency, building orderly mechanism" and the relevant documents and notifications of the provincial and municipal Asian Games Office so as to do a good job in the preparatory work of the medical security of the Asian Games in an all-round manner.

According to the current progress of medical security work, all departments advocate relevant personnel to fully cooperate with the organizing committee and Wenzhou Health Commission to provide the best medical security services for this sporting events.
